Medical insurance cards can become a nuisance, especially with a family (and a large number of policy numbers). The MediCard would also hold all needed information for hospital emergency rooms in one convenient place. The insurance company policy numbers and all other necessary information could be coded onto a single card, including information for an entire family. The card would have a direct web link to the insurance provider and would allow the hospital to immediately bill for a medical emergency. Any special restrictions could be encoded on the card as well.
